Job Description

This position will participate in the execution of special events for enrollment management (primarily admissions, may also involve other enrollment management events). Key responsibilities will include the following: member of a student team charged with event setup and day-of-event logistics for large-scale events like Discover Berry and small-scale events like counselor workshops and scholarship interviews; communication with faculty, staff, and student participants regarding event details; and assistance with overall event preparation such as preparing packets, nametags, and signage.

Student is expected to be available for at least 80% of the events each semester, which typically fall on evenings and weekends. Work hours are also available during regular business hours (M-F, 8-5) if desired.

Spring 2019 Dates: Presidential Scholars Competition (Thur-Fri, Feb 7-8); Decision Berry (Sun-Mon, Feb 17-18 and Sun-Mon, Mar 3-4); Discover Berry (Sat, Mar 23); Berry Bound (Sat, Apr 6).

Job Requirements

Valid driver's license; ability to lift up to 25 pounds; experience working with or volunteering for campus events (preferably with prospective students); strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills; work ethic, ability to be part of a team, and attention to detail extremely important; familiarity with the mission and policies of the college and the enrollment management division.
