Job Description

Essential duties of this position include the following. Employees in this position perform some or all of the following tasks. Other duties may be assigned. 

1.     Provide administrative support to Director of Athletics including, but not limited to preparation of presentations, research, special projects, handbook updates, and department wide initiatives.  

2.     Perform general office duties including typing, filing, copying/scanning, sorting and handling incoming and outgoing mail. 

3.     Maintain and publish accurate and up-to-date special event, community connection, and other notifications. 

4.     Coordinate all athletics related services as directed by supervisor.

5.     Manage special projects as assigned by supervisor. 

6.     Attend work regularly. 

7.     Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Computer Skills: Proficiency in the usage of database software, internet software, e-mail and word processing software. Ability to proficiently use the following programs required: MS Word, MS PowerPoint and Excel. Ability to type accurately and proficiently. 

Other Skills and Abilities: Ability to appropriately communicate with students, faculty, staff, parents, professional organizations/businesses, members of the community and others including vendors. Ability to exercise good judgment and work in an environment with constant interruptions.
