Job Description

 

  • Assist the Assistant Director of Marketing and Strategic Initiatives 
  • Supervise and mentor a team of student workers 
  • Coordinate marketing tasks for student workers using a project management system 
  • Plan, create, proofread, and execute marketing materials 
  • Support the marketing team with planning, implementing, and monitoring content 
  • Represent marketing team in meetings as needed 
  • Lead weekly marketing team meetings alongside student director 
  • Refine social media strategy and produce reports on analytics 
  • Research marketing trends to improve engagement 
  • Attend, plan, and assist with Center for Personal and Professional Development events 
Job Requirements
  • Must be selected as a Graduate Assistant 
  • Passion for Berry College and a strong understanding of what makes a Berry education unique  
  • 2+ years of related experience, preferably in marketing, social media, or event planning 
     
  • Demonstrated professionalism, responsibility, and motivation to work independently and with a team 
  • Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and Teams 
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and project management skills  
  • Creative and idea-oriented 
  • Photography and videography skills welcomed
