Job Description

Spring 2024 students will receive training and participate in recruitment events and other projects to support the developing IPSE programs.  2024-5 IPSE peer mentors will support students with Intellectual Disabilities in the IPSE program serving as academic peer mentors, social peer mentors, and/or internship/job peer mentors. Peer mentors will be supervised by the IPSE Program Coordinator and the IPSE Program Director. This is a position with great opportunities to develop leadership and mentoring skills supporting students with Intellectual Disabilities in an exciting new program at Berry College.
 

Job Requirements

Must be someone who embraces diversity and is committed to developing an inclusive and welcoming climate at Berry College.  Experience volunteering or interacting with people who have developmental disabilities is a plus, but not necessary for this position. Be flexible and creative, interested in developing leadership and mentoring skills that can help develop the inner potential of others.  Work well in a team.  Be compassionate and willing to learn!
