Department Summary:
The Production Assistant will join the Retail Enterprise team under Sunshine Room Textiles. The enterprise mission is to create dynamic student-led enterprises that foster a culture of entrepreneurship, creativity, and leadership, preparing individuals for success.
Position Summary:
The Production Assistant will work to create Sunshine Room Textile products within a team setting. They will assist their team with completing orders for a variety of customers and will also represent the enterprise at market events throughout the year. This entry-level position offers an opportunity to gain valuable craftsman experience in product creation and customer service functions as well as develop small business skills for future career advancement.
Essential Functions:
- Product creation (weaving/sewing)
- Fulfilling orders
- Assisting with inventory counts
- Maintaining an organized production room
- Selling at additional marketing/sales events
- Providing excellent customer service |
