The BOLD Technician role is within the Berry College Department of Recreation which includes the teams of Fitness, Intramurals, Nutrition, BOLD, Outdoor Rec, Risk Management, and Marketing & Communication. This role within the Berry Outdoor Leadership Development (BOLD) team would report to the BOLD Student Director and BOLD Technical Director, with their primary roles being support of program facilitation and challenge course & gear inspections/maintenance as needed. This role would begin by shadowing to learn facilitation of challenge course programming (including energizers, initiatives, and low- and high-element activities) both for on- and off-campus groups throughout the academic year. BOLD Technicians may also be responsible for upkeep and maintenance of BOLD facilities as assigned as well as participating in regular training opportunities to uphold safety & risk management throughout the duration of their employment.
