This is an entry-level Peer Educator role requiring 5 hours per week. First-Year Assistants support the Peer Educator team with administrative tasks and help implement programs that promote student well-being and flourishing. This includes assisting with wellness programs, CE events, and collaborative workshops with the Health and Counseling Center. Students in this role complete tasks delegated by Peer Educator Specialists and contribute to the smooth functioning of our outreach efforts. Primary Responsibilities - Pot-Thoughts Installation: Hang monthly “Pot-Thoughts” (inspirational and wellness-themed messages) in restroom stalls across campus.
- Flyer Canvassing: Distribute promotional materials for wellness events, workshops, and campus resources.
- Visual Consistency: Ensure posted materials remain current, neatly displayed, and removed when outdated.
- Collaborative Communication: Coordinate with the Peer Educator team to follow distribution schedules and receive updated content.
- Tabling Support: Prepare materials, assist with setup, and help staff peer education tabling events.
- Leadership Development: Participate in structured leadership development activities focused on ethics and character development
