Students seeking a position as a HackBerry Senior Lab Assistant should be third or fourth year students that have completed significant coursework in Creative Technologies. Furthermore, they must have worked for at least one year as a Lab Assistant and demonstrated leadership and mastery of lab equipment and procedure. They must also demonstrate a depth of capabilities in one of HackBerry Lab's focus areas: rapid prototyping, 3D printing and design, woodworking, metal working, electronics, programming, crafting/sewing, or circuit design. Senior Lab Assistants will also be responsible for training junior lab assistants in their area of specialization, so teaching abilities are critical. |
