We are seeking motivated students with experience in cell culture, PCR, gel electrophoresis, and RT-PCR to join our research team. We are particularly interested in individuals who enjoy working both collaboratively and independently to solve problems and investigate how metabolites influence growth and gene expression in human-derived colon epithelial cancer cells. The ideal candidate will have completed BIO 300 and have prior laboratory experience using molecular biology techniques. Candidates should be comfortable with the iterative nature of research—including experiments that may not work as expected—and be willing to troubleshoot and refine methods as needed. Strong writing skills and effective oral communication are essential. Students may be asked to present research at local or international conferences and contribute to drafting primary scientific manuscripts for publication. |
