Job Description

Assists with daily functions and operations in the Office of Admissions by serving as a student ambassador. Day to day functions and operations includes but is not limited to greeting and directing guests, working with families to schedule visits to campus, fielding phone calls from prospective students and parents, and providing tours of campus. The Office of Admissions provides a work environment that allows student staff to develop professional skills that will be applicable post-graduation. Students in the Office of Admissions are: 1. Building professional skills by communicating verbally, working in a team setting, prioritizing work, and solving problems daily. 2. Gaining leadership experience. Our student staff are taking initiative and gaining experience in leadership within an office environment. 3. Aiding in training and professional development of junior student staff members.

Job Requirements

• Passion for Berry College and a strong understanding of what makes the Berry experience unique. • Desire to provide excellent customer service to guests and strong public speaking skills. • Demonstrated professionalism, responsibility, and motivation to work diligently within a team setting. • Minimum of two semesters of related work experience - Seeking Sophomore or Junior Candidate.
