Job Description |
We are seeking a responsible and compassionate Kennel Attendant to join our team. The Kennel Attendant will be responsible for the daily care and well-being of our animal guests, including feeding, cleaning, and providing exercise and socialization. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: ? Feed and water animals according to their individual needs ? Walk dogs and allow them to spend some time in the play yard ? Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and other animal living areas ? Monitor animal behavior and report any concerns to management ? Administer medication and treatments as directed by management or veterinary staff ? Answer phones and assist receptionists as needed. (May be needed to work at the front desk some days)

Job Requirements |
Requirements: ? High school diploma or equivalent ? Prior experience working with animals preferred ? Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time ? Excellent communication and customer service skills ? Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously ? Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed Physical Demands: The Kennel Attendant will be required to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time. The position may also require bending, stooping, and kneeling. Work Environment: The Kennel Attendant will work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to animal hair, dander, and odors. The position may also require working outdoors in various weather conditions.
