Job Description
The President's Office is looking for an Operations Assistant who plays a critical role in keeping our office a positive, welcoming, and productive environment. They are responsible for the daily operations of the office.
 
The Operations Assistant must be organized, have excellent customer service skills, excellent time management, and be able to problem solve. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Greets visitors and manages the daily meetings handled in the office.
* Monitors and updates president’s and chief of staff’s calendars, as directed.
Serves as the assistant to the Executive Assistant to the President.
Handles incoming and outgoing mail. Including mailing the college newspaper to the Board of Trustees every week and ensuring digital copies are sent out by the Chief of Staff. 
Maintains office inventory, including Sam’s, Staple’s, and stationary, reordering as necessary.
• Sets-up and takes down the Hermann Hall Boardroom as needed, setting up AV, coffee, drinks, etc.
Assist with the training of new employees.
Meets weekly with the Operations team.
Must participate in mandatory, biweekly Office team meetings. 
Serves and interfaces with faculty, staff, Cabinet members, Board of Trustee members, and campus visitors.
Job Requirements

Excellent customer service, time management, organizational skills, and communication skills (written and verbal).
