Hiring for a start in August 2026 This is an intermediate Peer Educator role requiring 10 hours per week. Students in this position serve as active promoters of student well-being and play a key role in implementing peer education programs across campus. Level 2 Peer Educators support wellness initiatives by taking on greater responsibility for outreach, programming, and engagement, while continuing to assist with administrative and logistical tasks. This role includes training to assist and, at times, co-lead peer education programs for classes, student clubs, and campus organizations. Students complete tasks as delegated by Peer Educator Specialists and Team Leads. Level 2 Peer Educators support wellness initiatives by taking on greater responsibility for outreach, programming, and engagement, while continuing to assist with administrative and logistical tasks. This role includes training to assist and, at times, co-lead peer education programs for classes, student clubs, and campus organizations—with students completing tasks as delegated by Peer Educator Specialists and Team Leads. Primary Responsibilities Programming & Facilitation Support: Assist with and occasionally co-facilitate peer education programs focused on student well-being across campus, covering topics including stress management, transitioning to college life, healthcare literacy, sexual health, emotional health, self-reflection, healthy relationships, consent, resilience, and flourishing. Well-Being Advocacy: Model and promote holistic student well-being through positive peer interactions, visible engagement at events, and collaboration with campus partners. Serve as a peer ambassador for campus wellness. Flyer Canvassing: Distribute promotional materials for wellness events, workshops, and campus resources as needed. Visual Consistency: Ensure posted materials are up to date, neatly displayed, and removed when no longer relevant. Collaborative Communication: Work closely with the Peer Educator team to coordinate outreach schedules, share updates, and receive new content or program information. Tabling Events: Assist in ensuring materials are printed, and tables are prepared, and help staff with wellness-focused tabling events to engage students. Training & Development: Participate in ongoing training related to peer education, facilitation skills, inclusive approaches, trauma-informed care, and best practices in student well-being promotion. Leadership Development: Participate in structured leadership development activities focused on ethics and character development |
