The section editor is responsible for all section content and planning many weeks in advance. Generates story ideas, edits all copy, assigns stories and graphics/photos, manages staff writers and designs/lays out section pages. The section editor must make sure staff writers adhere to all deadlines. This editor will typically write stories as well. |
