Job Description |
Assisting with technical aspects of a professor's research program, with some expectation of independent and self-guided exploration and work. Carrying out literature reviews, participating in research discussion and meetings, and developing mathematical, computational, and/or software skills for research. Mentoring peer research assistants and working with peer research associates. |

Job Requirements |
Mathematics, Computer Science, or Data Science major and completion of intro-level sequence of courses in the discipline of research. Mathematical maturity and willingness to think hard for long periods of time. Good organizational, communication (oral and written), and time-management skills. Strong software programming skills may be required depending on the project. You must able to work well with others including students and faculty. This project-oriented job may require occasional work in the evening or on weekends. |
