Job Description |
| Assisting instructional faculty with teaching and support activities such as: helping during class/lab sessions, grading assignments, assisting faculty with course preparation, developing and preparing materials or solutions for course activities, monitoring & answering discussion forums, and holding office hours/review sessions to assist students with course content and assignment questions. You will be required to participate in preparatory sessions or meetings prior to each activity, and you may need to document or record data (grades, etc) after the activity is completed. |

Job Requirements |
| You must have completed at least one regular semester of work previously as a Math/Computer Science Teaching Assistant. You must have completed the course in which you will be assisting, with a grade of B or higher. You should have good time management skills, in particular, the ability to grade and return papers in a reasonable time frame. You should have the ability to respond to emails in a timely fashion. If the job involves direct student contact then you must be able to communicate course content effectively to your peers. You must be able to work effectively with a variety of people who may be different from you in many ways and have the ability to remain impartial and patient with peers. |
