Assistant Stage Managers are in charge of managing the backstage areas during technical rehearsals and performances. They communicate between the stage manager and performers- including monitoring performer entrances and exits, monitoring quick changes, and alerting the stage manager of any issues that arise during rehearsals or performances. They also organize and prepare the backstage area each day, manage props, coordinate scene changes, and overall ensure a smooth run of rehearsals and performances from backstage. |
