Job Description

The Center for Personal and Professional Development (CPPD) at Berry College is seeking a creative and motivated student to join our team through LifeWorks as a Student Marketing Content Lead. This role is ideal for someone interested in building hands-on experience in content creation, social media strategy, and collaborative marketing.

CPPD includes Career Development, LifeWorks, and the Community and Industry (C&I) Internship Program, with marketing efforts focused on social media, student newsletters, and video/graphic design.

As the Student Marketing Content Lead, you will play an active role in creating and maintaining engaging, on-brand content across CPPD platforms. You will attend and assist in leading weekly marketing team meetings, help ensure social media posts are consistent and unique to CPPD, and collaborate closely with other student marketers. This role also involves supporting teammates when needed and contributing to a positive, creative team environment.

Job Requirements

In addition to content creation, you will help track engagement and performance to better understand what content resonates most with students and contributes to effective marketing efforts. You will work closely with the Marketing Graduate Assistant and the CPPD student marketing team.

?      Attend and assist in leading marketing student team meetings.

?     Ensure consistent, high quality, and on brand social media posts.

?     Support and collaborate with fellow marketing students as needed.

?     Help manage and communicate marketing requests from CPPD staff.

?      Gather and share data on marketing performance and effectiveness.

A student interested in this role should have the following skills and interests:

?     Interest in working with a marketing team and content creation, does not have to be a marketing major.

?      Knowledge of social media apps, Canva, and ability to edit.

?     Willingness to learn the Hootsuite and My Emma platforms.

?     Interest in working with a team whose goal is to create a more effective marketing campaign.

?     Ability to communicate with team members
