Job Description

The Summer KCAB Director serves as the primary student representative for KCAB. The director manages the ongoing operations and logistics of KCAB event business.

Job Requirements

Office Management

Maintain KCAB email

Clean, organize and maintain KCAB office supplies

Office and Closet Clean and Refresh: Conducting thorough cleaning and organization of office and storage spaces to improve efficiency

Prepare the office for the new board

Marketing

Assist in the execution and planning of the Wall Calendar and Stall Wall

Designing and maintaining a comprehensive calendar

Hanging Stall Walls around campus

Assist with Social Media, Display Cases, Email Graphic Design

Designing and posting or printing/hanging graphics for summer events, promotions and important information for students

Manage KCAB Instagram and answer any applicable questions

Summer Event Planning & Execution

Organizing and managing summer events to engage the campus community.

Coordinating logistics, vendors, and schedules to ensure seamless execution.

Ticket Distribution

SOAR Programming & Tabling

2025-2026 Academic Year Planning

Scheduling meetings, setting deadlines, and organizing resources for a smooth transition into the fall semester.

Designing and ordering staff items and any promotional items needed to support marketing efforts and enhance brand visibility. Ensuring timely delivery and distribution of items for events.

Assist with Discount Card Project

Viking Venture Event Planning & Execution

Klub Krannert

Rage in the Cage

Draft 2025 – 2026 KCAB Event Schedule

Finalize Fall 2025 Event Schedule

Work with Athletics to schedule out fall Pack the House events

Plan Fall KCAB Training

Organizing training sessions for staff to prepare them for the fall semester.

Developing training materials and coordinating schedules.

Communicating with KCAB staff on early arrival and training schedule

Other

Participate in office staff meetings and student work training

Assist professional staff with office projects, campus errands and office programs/events

Assist in managing emergency situations as they may arise

Work with Campus Safety and other professional staff to maintain a calm and safe environment

Complete any necessary documentation and notify Director of emergency situations as they arise
