Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to support both the Marketing and Human Resources departments. This dual-role internship offers exposure to real-world marketing initiatives and HR projects within a professional banking environment. The Marketing and HR Intern will have the unique opportunity to dive into both the internal and external functions of the bank and receive first-hand experience in shaping our company culture and community relations. 

 

Marketing  

  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns and promotional activities 

  • Help manage social media accounts, to include graphic design, content creation, and scheduling 

  • Support event planning and coordination for community engagement activities, including scheduling employee volunteers 

  • Assist with digital and print design projects 

  • Assist with special marketing projects 

  • Contribute to external communication initiatives 

  • Complete other duties as assigned 

Human Resources 

  • Assist with recruitment activities such as job postings and resume screening 

  • Help maintain employee records and HR documentation 

  • Support onboarding and orientation for new hires 

  • Assist in the pre-planning and implementation of a career development program 

  • Contribute to internal communication initiatives 

  • Serve as the Rome liaison to HR activities as needed 

  • Assist in special projects as needed such as job description alignment, SharePoint projects, and preparation for open enrollment (paper process needs to be electronic)  

  • Adhere to compliance regulations and requirements as well as strict confidentiality requirements

Job Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field preferred 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms; SharePoint experience is a plus!  

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities 

  • A collaborator with an initiative-taking attitude and eagerness to learn 

  • Some travel may be required
