Job Description |
Now Hiring for Summer 2026! To minister to the needs of the youth (grades 6-12), their parents, and the church as a whole. To plan and provide Bible study and times of reflection for the youth in order to encourage their spiritual growth: Each Sunday during Sunday School time
Wednesday nights while the adults are meeting for Bible study time
Special retreats at least once a year
To plan and provide activities for the youth to encourage their physical, social, and emotional development in a Christian context: - Planned activities for youth at least once a month on Sunday afternoons, such as hiking, biking, picnics, games (both indoors and out), suppers together at the church, etc.
- Special activities throughout the year, such as overnight campouts, 5th Quarter Get-Togethers after football or basketball games, summer mission trips, Christmas caroling/party, other holiday events, etc.
To provide mission opportunities for youth participation on a regular basis, such as: Provide and lead youth to take part in a program once a month at a nursing home or to visit shut-ins of our church
Lead youth to participate in charitable ministries
To work with the church staff and church council in order to avoid any conflicts when scheduling events. |
