Job Description

Position Summary:
The Office Assistant for the Student Government Association (SGA) supports organizational continuity and operational stability within SGA. This position assists with compiling and organizing key documents, supporting leadership transitions, and maintaining organizational tools such as position templates and calendars. The Office Assistant works closely with the SGA Executive Board and the Dean of Students Office to ensure effective communication, documentation, and continuity from year to year.

Job Requirements

Essential Functions:

·         Synthesize prior SGA board experiences, procedures, and best practices into comprehensive and accessible documentation to ensure organizational continuity

·         Compile, maintain, and update transition sheets and handoff materials for outgoing and incoming SGA Executive Board members

·          Collect, organize, and archive documents and records from previous SGA boards using shared digital platforms

·         Organize and manage SGA Microsoft Teams 

·         Create and coordinate training schedules for newly elected or appointed SGA Executive Board members

·         Support overall operational stability of the Student Government Association through administrative and organizational assistance
