Job Description

Job Description: The Sports Leadership and Strategy office is seeking a student worker to provide LinkedIn management, partnership outreach, event coordination, and administrative support to enhance program visibility and student opportunities.  The qualified candidate will hold a sophomore or junior status.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and manage SLS program LinkedIn account, posting 3-5 times weekly on sports leadership topics, trends, alumni spotlights, and internship calls to grow followers, connections, and engagement.?
  • Research and secure internship/articulation agreements with Rome, GA community partners (e.g., local teams like Rome Emperors), expanding to Atlanta and pro sports; prepare proposals and track progress.?
  • Coordinate 4-6 guest speakers for SLS classes (in-person/Zoom) and organize career panel event in early March, handling invites, bios, logistics, and follow-up.?
Job Requirements

Qualifications and Skills

  • Current Berry College sophomore/junior; interest in sports, management, marketing, or leadership.?
  • Strong communication, organization, and social media skills; familiarity with LinkedIn best practices (e.g., content curation, trends, stats) preferred.?
  • Self-starter with teamwork and problem-solving abilities; available M-F for flexible scheduling around classes.?
  • Must have CPPD-approved resume
