Open Door Home is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, in partnership with Rome City Schools. Our residential facilities provide emergency and extended care to youth who have been neglected and/or abused. ODH strives to help each child reach his or her full potential to live healthier, happier and more productive lives. The Tutor Coordinator at Open Door will manage and oversee the tutoring program, ensuring effective support for Berry tutors, and student residents. This role involves: - ?Coordinate logistics for the tutoring program
- Facilitate and lead regular tutor meetings
- Manage and maintain the tutor schedules to ensure coverage at both boys and girls home
- Train and onboard new tutors, ensuring an understanding of program rules, regulations and expectations
- Collaborate with STEM tutors to oversee and guide STEM - related projects
- Monitor and asses the progress of students, adjusting tutoring strategies as needed
- Serve as the primary point of contact for tutors and address any issues that arise
- Provide progress reports and any issues that arise to Open Door Director, and Berry Supervisor
- Mantain files and documents in teams for shared access
