Job Description

Multimedia Journalist Intern (Marketing & Communications)

The following are potential duties and projects of this internship 

  • Create marketing materials, graphics, newsletters, flyers, and presentations.
  • Manage and create content for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
  • Capture photos, videos, and multimedia stories highlighting residents, programs, staff, and community events.
  • Assist with website updates, SEO efforts, and digital marketing initiatives.
  • Support community outreach, resident engagement, and partnership-building activities.
  • Help plan and promote resident events, employee celebrations, ribbon cuttings, and special projects.
  • Track social media analytics and prepare engagement reports.
  • Maintain organized project records and provide general administrative support.
  • Use AI and emerging digital tools to improve content creation and marketing workflows.
  • Other assigned duties as needed 
Job Requirements

Community & Industry positions are an extension of Berry’s LifeWorks program.  


This position is considered an intermediate level position and requires students to have completed the CPPD resume approval process.

Job Requirements 

·       Prefer an outgoing, friendly personality.  Must be responsible, detailed, task-oriented, and creative.  Prefer working knowledge with SEO/Social    Media Platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, etc.) 

·       Reliable transportation to and from work location. Sophomore and above academic status.
