Position Overview

This high-level student worker position offers meaningful professional experience in business development, nonprofit development, strategic partnerships, and executive-level office operations. The role supports Berry College’s work with external organizations, including foundations, corporations, and other key institutional partners.

Working with the Director of Foundations and Strategic Relations, the Strategic Partnerships Student Associate will provide important behind-the-scenes support that helps strengthen preparation, communication, data organization, and follow-through for external engagement. This position is ideal for a student who is proactive, organized, professional, and interested in learning how relationship strategy, research, and project coordination contribute to institutional success.

Ideal Candidate

This opportunity is best suited for a sophomore, junior, or senior who is seeking hands-on experience connected to business, nonprofit leadership, advancement, communications, data management, or organizational strategy.

{C}{C}·        {C}Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, is preferred

Key Responsibilities

{C}{C}·        {C}Research and partner profiles: Help develop and maintain corporate and foundation profiles to support leadership preparation and strategic outreach.

{C}{C}·        {C}Data entry and reporting: Enter information into internal systems, write clear internal notes, organize meeting notes, and help translate information into written reports.

{C}{C}·        {C}Meeting and visit preparation: Assist with planning for corporate and foundation campus meetings, including agendas, briefing materials, reservations, lunches, and other logistics.

{C}{C}·        {C}Administrative and correspondence support: Assist the Director with professional correspondence, scheduling support, and other administrative needs related to external engagement.

{C}{C}·        {C}Spreadsheets and tracking tools: Maintain spreadsheets and other tools used to curate, organize, and analyze partnership-related data.

{C}{C}·        {C}Agreement and project follow-through: Help track the execution of agreements, deliverables, and next steps connected to external partners.

{C}{C}·        {C}Special projects: Support selected advancement projects and additional strategic initiatives as needed.
