Job Description Member of the Welcome Center team, welcoming visitors to campus and providing basic information about Berry College. The team will receive 10 hours of training and be given a short test to show proficiency in campus information (date of founding, current enrollment, etc.). Each student will be responsible for obtaining a replacement if he/she is unable to work his/her designated shift. Student Trains other Welcome Center Team members to provide maps and other campus brochures to visitors, obtain information from visitors about the purpose of their visit and assist them in answering questions about the college. Team members will be knowledgeable about events occurring on campus and they will work closely with Admissions, the Cottages and Oak Hil
Job Requirements Have successfully served at least one term in a Level 2 position. Team members are expected to be friendly and welcoming, to dress appropriately in the designated uniform and to be able to obtain information from other departments if necessary. Applicants should possess excellent communication and customer service skills. They should be tactful, energetic, eager to assist others in problem-solving, and be willing to help build a “culture of hospitality” at Berry College for visitors to our campus
