The student must possess their own means of transportation, a valid driver's license, and be willing to complete a criminal background check. Students must attend and complete a 1.5 hour School Mentoring training program through the Communities in School. Training dates to be established. Education, English majors are a good academic fit but will consider majors. Students must want and like to work with children. Students can flex hours in the schools between 7:30AM - 4:30PM within their assigned school, Monday through Friday. Students will need to be able to work at least three hours if they are going to a school. |
