Job Description

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this internship  is responsible for helping with a variety of social media marketing initiatives for the Harbin Clinic Marketing Department. Daily tasks include assisting the Marketing Manager with creating social media posting schedules and campaigns, writing captions for social media posts, developing engaging social media stories for Facebook and Instagram, and tracking analytics for social media campaigns.

Ideal candidates will be very organized with the ability to grasp details and understand the overall concept of the company, including the brand and customer goals.

This aspiring professional possesses sophisticated interpersonal skills, a creative mind, and a customer-focused approach to their profession.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Working with the content and digital marketing team, assist in the development of a social media content calendar in tandem with the editorial calendar. This includes a posting schedule and creating engaging captions & stories across platforms.
  2. Assist in tracking analytics and providing suggestions to the team for improving patient experience on social platforms.
  3. Keep abreast of and monitor current trends across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter.
  4. Perform other duties as assigned to carry out the mission of the Clinic.
Job Requirements

Required education / skills:

  1. Strong familiarity with Microsoft Word, some knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and InDesign
  2. Excellent English written and oral communication skills
  3. Ability to interpret needs, objectives, and direction from multiple sources of input
  4. Ability to research and summarize on a variety of topics using available (ie internet) resources
  5. Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant subject (English Literature, Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations or other related at an accredited college or university. Must be a rising Junior or senior

Experience:  Strong social media, online engagement and writing skills required. Pursuing degree in communications, marketing, or public relations preferred. Prior internship and/or healthcare experience a plus.

Qualifications: Strong familiarity with social media management, and verbal and written communication. Portfolio of social media content, campaigns and relevant results.
