Sophomore or Junior Pre-Nursing or Nursing students
Reliable transportation to and from hospital
BLS Certification at employment or within one month of employment
Must have and/or be willing to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care that addresses the physical, psychosocial, educational, safety, and age appropriate needs of the patient population served within the department.
Moderate to heavy physical effort, considerable standing and walking.
Ability to effectively manage varying and unpredictable situations.
Must successfully pass hiring application process with Redmond Regional. Students will be hired directly as employees of Redmond Regional, a Berry College Community & Industry partner.
Students can work and are encouraged to work during summer months with hospital to continue skills development.
Sutend must commit to a minimum of 12 hours per week and be willing to work two weekends per month.
